Tucson-based Raytheon Missile Systems has been awarded a trio of contracts worth up to $31 million combined for work involving a ship-defense missile, a decoy drone and a cruise missile, the Defense Department announced.
Raytheon won a Navy contract modification worth up to $13.2 million to provide production support through April for the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile, for a consortium of NATO nations. About 45 percent of the work will be performed in Tucson, the Pentagon said.
Separately, the company was awarded a $12.4 million Air Force contract for range safety systems needed for testing of the Miniature Air Launched Decoy Jammer, as well as a $5.8 million Air Force contract to provide engineering services for the AGM-129 Advanced Cruise Missile. |
