Two long-time IT professionals have put their heads together and have established Clifton Consulting Group as a new information technology firm located at 6155 N. Integrity Drive.
The company founded by Robert Padilla and Kurt Cummings will focus on three major areas:
-Daily organization activities—providing basic IT organizational assistance to local companies who find their IT staffs overwhelmed by their daily assignments
-Project management—providing IT project management to companies that have a need to address more complex, extended projects (integration, software implementations, etc.)
-IT strategies—helping chief information officers develop or revise their strategic IT plans to ensure that their organizations do not fall behind technologically
The company has also opened satellite offices in Phoenix and Los Angeles. Its headquarters are in Tucson.
"We are hopeful of helping local firms in Tucson address their IT needs during a time of economic difficulties and recurring layoffs," said Padilla, president of the company. "Many local companies have cut their IT staffs down the bone. With 33 consultants spread across three major metropolitan areas, we hope to help those organizations address their IT needs wherever possible."
