As part of its KidSmart Early Learning program, IBM donated 50 Young Explorer computers to the Flowing Wells Unified School District as part of its KidSmart Early Learning program.
IBM awarded 13 grants nationwide. Flowing Wells is the only Tucson-area district to receive a $120,000 grant.
The Young Explorer computer centers contain a computer housed in brightly-colored, Little Tikes furniture and pre-loaded with educational software from Riverdeep – The Learning Company. The learning centers will be put in preschool, kindergarten and first grade
